Privacy Policy

Diner use without an account

You can browse, save seats, and use OneSeat without creating an OneSeat account. Saved restaurants, diner profile, and Shared Tables stay on your phone.

Restaurant desk

If you register a restaurant, OneSeat sends the restaurant name, city, and work email to OneSeat so we can follow up (including via Hostinger Reach). The password stays on your phone.

Purchases

The app download and OneSeat Select are processed by Apple. Restaurant Plan ($79.99 USD / year), extra house deals, and sponsored pins are billed by Stripe. OneSeat does not receive or store full payment card numbers; Stripe processes payment data under its own privacy policy.

Location

Location is optional. If you turn on solo check-ins, OneSeat may use approximate location to show nearby activity. Exact location is never published. You can turn this off in the Guide.

Photos

If you share a seating photo, location metadata is stripped. In this version photos stay on the device unless you publish them to a live board.

Face ID

Face ID or device passcode is used only if you choose to keep left-alone notes locked to this phone. We do not collect a government ID.

Left-alone notes

An optional preference. It surfaces listing facts (lighting, professional rooms, staff used to one). It is not a certification and does not rate whether a restaurant is friendly or unfriendly to women.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We do not track you across other companies’ apps for advertising.

Third parties

Booking buttons open OpenTable, Resy, Tock, Maps, or the restaurant’s site. Restaurant follow-up may use Hostinger Reach. Those services have their own policies.

Requests

Use Account & Privacy in the app to export or delete data stored on the phone. There is a 7-day window to cancel a deletion request. Email HQ@appealinglabs.com only for legal privacy requests the in-app flow cannot finish.
